About The Artist:
With his fifteenth album and debut memoir, Guess What? I Love You, piano-playing singer-songwriter Mike Maimone memorializes the profound love story he shared with his late husband, legendary publicist Howard Bragman—whose groundbreaking career empowered countless LGBTQ+ people to live openly and authentically. Los Angeles Magazine says, "Together, the album and memoir form a single work—an honest, moving account of love, loss and the radical act of staying open to possibility."
Since beginning his career in 2005, Maimone has written and published over two hundred songs heard on TV, in films, on the radio, and Spotify/Apple Music editorial playlists. He has averaged nearly 100 tour dates per year as a solo artist, fronting his trio Mutts, and as a session keyboardist. He has appeared at festivals such as Lollapalooza, Riot Fest, and Mile of Music, headlined iconic venues including the Metro, Bowery Ballroom, and the Troubadour, performed on keys with Stevie Wonder, and toured alongside OK Go, Plain White T’s, and Blues Traveler.
Guess What? I Love You is out now (8eat8 Records/Fox & Quill Publishing) - find purchase/streaming links at mikemaimone.com, followed by tour dates across the United States, Europe, and Australia.
