Listening Party, The duo out of Milwaukee, WI present’s a brand of Northern folk-rock that is driven by the light hearted story telling of singer-songwriter Weston Mueller and fueled by multi-instrumentalist, Jacob Wood. Their new album, ‘Been a Long Time Comin’ is being released in the Summer of 2022.

Kurt Gunn

A pure songwriter, equally informed and introspective. A talented guitarist and composer, from a climate that compels musicians to devote compassion to their craft. From solo performer to bandleader, with a style alternately whimsical and weighted, Gunn’s range will draw you in and keep you in his crosshairs. Gunn was named the 2020 Wisconsin Area Music Industry (WAMI) Singer/Songwriter of the Year and 2021 nominee for Singer/Songwriter of the Year and Album of the Year for Northern Town.

Nick Gonnering

Nick Gonnering, is a soul-infused, blues-inspired, folk Singer-Songwriter and Multi-Instrumentalist. His fusion of funk and jazz chordings compliments his inspiring, reflective lyrics and soulful melodies. While he is a solo artist, his stylings add rhythmic and percussive elements that can sound like a full band, and he often accompanies himself with a looper.

Drawing inspiration from soul, bluegrass, funk, hip hop, and rock music, Nick fuses styles and techniques to create powerful, insightful and inspiring original music. Reflective of his journey through yoga and the self, his music resonates with an essence of mysticism and charm, and his lyrics weave a tale of insight and peace.

Holly Beemer

Holly Beemer is a Senior voice major at Lawrence university who has performed since she was nine years old. Songwriting has been a major passion of hers since she learned to write and play guitar, because some things can only be captured by song. She lives by her dad's saying: "if magic is real, it's in love and music".
