About This Show
The Mascot Theory celebrates the release of their most personal and ambitious album yet, Cosmic Hit And Run, on Friday, October 3 at Gibson Music Hall in Appleton. Written through the grief of losing a parent and the shock of a life-threatening diagnosis, the album transforms heartbreak into harmony in a genre-blurring collection of songs that feels both cinematic and deeply intimate. Before performing the entire new album live, the band will sit down for a special on-stage interview to share the story of the album by Into The Music Podcast. Miles Nielsen opens the evening with a rare solo set. Don’t miss this powerful night of music, conversation, and connection.

About The Artist
The Mascot Theory is a Wisconsin-based Americana-rock band known for emotionally honest songwriting, soaring harmonies, and a sound that moves fluidly between introspective folk-rock and full-throttle heartland anthems. Anchored by the reflective songwriting of vocalist/guitarist Erik Kjelland and brought to life by the dynamic interplay of Cory Swadley (lead guitar), Nick Fry (bass), and Paul Metz (drums), the band crafts music that feels both deeply personal and universally resonant. Their chemistry fuels a live energy that’s intimate, explosive, and always evolving. Whether on stage or in the studio, The Mascot Theory delivers songs anchored in melody, driven by heart, and wide open to the unknown.
