Eric W. Krueger & The Sheesh
Wisconsin singer-songwriter Eric W. Krueger's solo work takes a turn from his other projects (Leading the Blind, Hallorann, Sunday Flood), blurring the lines of folk and rock through a balance of detailed narratives, melody and dissonance, and obscure rhythms. The Sheesh is comprised of Eric's bandmates from Fox Valley band A-Town Unplugged, adding layers of grooves to the project.
Tom Thiel Trio
Singer-songwriter Tom Thiel infuses lyrical imagery with open tuned guitar riffs influenced by Chris Whitley, Jeff Buckley, and Led Zeppelin. Thiel’s original music during a live show can range from introspective folk, to grunge blues, to guitar driven pop rock.
Tom is known for his time as lead guitarist for Wisconsin rock band Boxkar, with whom he recorded 3 albums, and played iconic venues like the Viper Room, Hard Rock Cafe Chicago, and an inaugural ball in Washington D.C.
Thiel released a solo album “Old Shadows” in 2017 and the following year was named Singer-Songwriter of the Year by the Wisconsin Area Music Industry. Thiel collaborated with slide guitar virtuoso Jay Stulo for the blues/rock album “Ghosts Around Here” in 2019. Tom released his second album “Armchair Astronaut” in 2021, featuring the haunting single “That Curious Moon”. The song’s accompanying music video was a finalist in the Stockholm Film Festival in 2023.
He often performs with “The Tom Thiel Trio” featuring Jeremy Rechner on bass and Pat Wydeven on drums. The trio is working on new songs for a release in 2024.
